nalf Reunions
Association members (usually) gather in June or September each year for fellowship and the annual meeting. The sites for these reunions are chosen with the proximity to historical sites and cemeteries in mind. Beginning with morning snacks, the reunion includes a speaker on local Leavitt history in addition to the annual meeting, as well as plenty to eat for lunch. A tour of local landmarks and cemeteries customarily follows lunch.
In recent years we have included an informal social get together the night before the reunion. It is a chance to socialize and catch up, as well as a place to meet and welcome new reunion goers so that the next day they will see familiar faces. Friday attendance has rivaled the actual reunion.
