First Stone Side 1: Alonzo LEAVITT, 1834-1922; Susan Came NASON, his wife, 1836-1907; M. Nellie, their dau., 1863-1890; Frank C, their son, 1861-1930; J. Will, their son, 1872-1945; Belle A, his wife, 1874-1945. Side 2 is Susan's siblings.
Second Stone Side 1 is Alonzo's daughter Ida Susan LEAVITT, 1865-1944, and her husband, Fred J ALLEN, 1865-1917. Side 2 is their children Laurence and Frederic and families.

Below is Ella E (Maxwell) LEAVITT, third wife of Hamlin Benjamin LEAVITT 1870-1919 buried Salem MA (son of Ralph Clinton Leavitt 1828-1894, Joseph 1782 Cambridge Maine line, probably ties into Nehemiah line). Lot #70. Second stone is Ella's grandmother, Sarah Ann (Linscott) Maxwell. Unknown where her parents are. Walk down the middle of the cemetery past the Alonzo stones a little ways, and use that large tree as a landmark to your left.

Herman T. Leavitt, 1940 - 1992; Herman Thomas was the son of Clinton Herman and Elizabeth (Andrews) Leavitt, born 9 Oct in Malden, MA. He died in Biddeford on 5 Sept, aged 51 yrs. His grandfather, Herman John Leavitt, was the son of Chase F. Leavitt [in the Desc. of Moses Leavitt, pg 148]

Clayton M Leavitt, 1890-1916 - he died following an operation for appendicitis, in Boston. He belonged to the Sanford Order of Moose, hence the image on his stone.
